After 20 years abroad, Mark Renton return to Scotland and meet with old friends sick boy, Spud and Begbie. First there was no betrayal. It took twenty years. Not much has changed, but only to remain almost the same. Mark Renton (Ewan McGregor) to return onlyplace one day call home. Waiting for him, Spud (Ewen Bremner), sick boy (Jonny Lee Miller) and Robert Carlyle (Begbie). Other old friends waiting TE: sadness, loss, joy, revenge, hatred, friendship, love, longing, fear, sad, diamorphine, self-destruction and mortal danger, are alllined up to greet him ready to join the dance.
